Cut about 1/2 in long ending at the top of my upper lip?

i had a pretty big and deep cut on my upper lip area and it is healing ok, looks like a scar is forming now but its still very pain full and still cant fully eat with silver wear or fold my lips inward as if to smear lipstick which i feel i should be able to already so i looked at it and tried to touched it and there is a ball forming like inside the cut could it be a clot or something sorry if i didn't explain to well
